Common Ground: Opening Reception

Common Ground brings together the work of Eric G. Pryor and Ernani Silva in a vibrant dialogue centered on culture, memory, and the shared human experience. Though their artistic languages are distinct—Pryor's layered abstractions exploring identity and the evolving narratives of Black artistic expression, and Silva's expressive compositions celebrating the rhythms, spirituality, and traditions of Brazil—both artists create work rooted in connection, transformation, and hope. Eric G. Pryor is an artist, cultural leader, and advocate for arts education whose career uniquely bridges creative practice, institutional leadership, and community engagement.
